Nice! It's the first car that impressed me when I was a kid. I've had it for 17 years now and I have no intention of selling it. It wasn't matching numbers when I bought it, so now I installed a new 350 TPI crate engine. Very fun to drive.

It wasn't exactly the heyday of the Corvette and I think it has wider tires so it probably has more traction than power.

Najdalje smo dogurali nas troje sa dva Jeepa prije tri godine i pri tom odradili dobar posao čišćenja da bi prošli dalje (link, od 1:30 je nastavak ovog ovdje). Nekad davno je to bio put za kola ali se ne koristi već više od 40 godina. My older son is 10 and he loved that car as a child but he is currently in the "screen" phase, like all his peers. I ask him here and there are we gonna sell the Trans Am, and he looks at me like are you crazy?! My younger son is 6 and unfortunately he is autistic and non-verbal, but he can be in the car for hours. We often go for a drive. I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately I don't have a link, my mechanic had someone where he bought them. The most important thing is that they are AMC, they are better than the factory ones and there are no more problems with them. I put all 4 new ones. Expensive but way to go if you don't want problems with heads.

Sounds sweet! ❤️ New engine is in the car (last video with Trans Am). Just today I replaced the knock sensor because it was working quite badly. Now it runs nice so I will make a new video soon. I still need to change the injectors, throttle body, runners, etc. to reach the power that this engine can develop but I will do that gradually. It is important that the engine is now inside and that it runs smooth.

With MTs he would go up easily. These are Cooper ST MAXX, hybrid between AT and MT tires.

@@marianodominguez8155 V6 is more durable engine but for true off road experience, definitely XJ. I had WJ too and it's great with Quadra-Drive but XJ is more capable and very easy to upgrade. But you can expect problems with heads if you don't know the history of that XJ. I knew what was waiting for me, so when the head broke for the first time (after 4 years of abusing) I changed all 4 new ones (AMC, they are better than the factory ones) and then you are safe. Also, the 2.5 TD XJ will run on any type of waste oil (I also have two older videos related to this). If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Greetings from Croatia!

With Quadra-Drive II this is a very capable vehicle.

From everything I read, it's kind of the last model that's close to what a Jeep is supposed to be. In the Cherokee / Grand Cherokee family, I mean. But for the moment I try to enjoy my XJ with a german heart :)
